HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO ORDER A TICKET?
Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor.
HOW MANY WIN2023 LOTTERY TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are only 23,204 Lottery tickets available.
WHAT ARE THE TICKET PRICES FOR THE WIN2023 LOTTERY?
WIN2023 Lottery tickets are $25 CAD each, 5 for $100 CAD, or $300 for 20, max. of 250 bundles.
WHAT ARE GUIDELINES REGARDING NUMBER OF NAMES ON WIN2023 LOTTERY TICKET AND PAYMENT TERMS?
All tickets, both individual, five pack and twenty pack, must contain the same name and information. Only one form of payment may be used per purchase. Ticket numbers will be issued in sequential order.
CAN SOMEONE WHO LIVES OUTSIDE ONTARIO BUY A TICKET?
The lottery is intended for Ontario residents only. Ticket buyers must be in Ontario at the time of order and provide an Ontario mailing address.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO ORDER A TICKET?
The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the Win2023 Hospital Lottery:

CPDMH Foundation staff and Board of Directors;

AGH Foundation staff and Board of Directors;

Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette Ltd. Owners and employees;

The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Senior Team, the Almonte General Hospital and Fairview Manor Senior Team, and Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) Directors;
-
Raffle event promoter, Kelly Prescott;
-
Employees of the registered gaming supplier, BUMP a Division of Canadian Bank Note Company Ltd.;

And members of the same household of each of the above; and
-
Employees of the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario.
IF I WIN AN EARLY BIRD DRAW IS MY TICKET STILL ELIGIBLE FOR THE GRAND PRIZE?
Yes, winners of the five (5) early-bird draws will have their tickets re-entered for the grand-prize draw. You have six opportunities at winning a prize, five early-bird draws and the final grand-prize draw.
I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY OFFICIAL TICKET / IT CONTAINS A SPELLING/ADDRESS ERROR

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF A CREDIT CARD IS DECLINED?
All tickets must be purchased online using a credit card. If there is an issue with your credit card, the point of purchase system will not allow your ticket to be purchased. Credit card is the only form of payment.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY TICKETS?
Generally within five minutes of purchase you will receive your ticket. During times of high demand, it could take up to 30 minutes. If you don’t receive within an hour, email us to cpdmhfoundation@gmail.com or call us at 613-257-2200 ext.737.
I HAVE DELETED THE EMAIL WITH MY LOTTERY TICKET, AM I STILL ELIGIBLE FOR THE DRAWS?
Yes. You do not need your ticket in hand to be included in the draws. For ticket-related inquiries, please email us to cpdmhfoundation@gmail.com or call us at 613-257-2200 ext.737.
I DON’T HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS; HOW DO I GET A COPY OF MY TICKET?
You must include an email address in order to purchase a ticket.
I’M NOT ABLE TO OPEN MY ELECTRONIC TICKETS. WHAT DO I DO?

WHAT ARE THE EARLY BIRD PRIZES?
There are five (5) early-bird prizes. The 1st Early-Bird is valued at up to $2,000 for a grocery shopping spree at Mitchell's YIG in Carleton Place, ON. All qualifying tickets for the 1st Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 12 noon on Friday, April 21, 2023.
The 2nd Early-Bird Draw is valued at up to $2,000 for a grocery shopping spree at YIG in Almonte, ON. All qualifying tickets for the 2nd Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 12 noon on Friday, April 21, 2023.
The 1st and 2nd Early-Bird Draws will occur at 1 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette Ltd., 375 McNeely Ave, Carleton Place, Ontario, K7C 0A1.
The 3rd Early-Bird Draw is a Youth 4-Wheeler and accessories donated by the Throttle Powersports Almonte valued at $5,174.96. All qualifying tickets for the 3rd Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 12 noon on Friday, May 5, 2023. The 3rd Early-Bird Draw will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at Throttle Powersports Almonte, 4692 March Rd, Almonte, ON K0A 1A0.
The 4th Early-Bird Draw is a Louisiana Grill donated by Beckwith Butcher valued at $2,825. All qualifying tickets for the 4th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 12 noon on Friday, May 19, 2023. The 4th Early-Bird Draw will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, at The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, 211 Lake Avenue East, Carleton Place ON K7C 1J4.
The 5th Early-Bird Draw is a Milwaukee Tool set donated by Levi Home Hardware valued at $4,003.32. All qualifying tickets for the 5th Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 12 noon on Friday, June 16, 2023. The 5th Early-Bird Draw will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 at Levi Home Hardware, 476 Ottawa St. Almonte, ON K0A 1A0.
WHAT IS THE GRAND PRIZE?
The 6th and final draw is the Grand Prize for the winner’s choice of a 1963 Convertible Sting Ray Corvette valued at $100,000 OR $100,000 CASH. All qualifying tickets for the 6th and final Grand Prize Draw must be purchased by 7 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023.
The Grand Prize Draw will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Pakenham General Store, 2524 County Rd. No 29, Pakenham ON K0A 2X0
IS MY TICKET PURCHASE ELIGIBLE FOR A CHARITABLE TAX RECEIPT?
Lottery or raffle tickets are not eligible for a charitable tax receipt as per Canada Revenue Agency rules and regulations.
IF I WIN, IS MY PRIZE SUBJECT TAXATION?
No. Prizes won are not taxable. Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CLAIM MY PRIZE?
All winners must claim their prizes within six (6) weeks if possible. An unclaimed prize will be held in trust by the licensee for a period not less than six (6) months from the date the prize was awarded. At the end of the six-month period, the total amount of the prize held in trust, including interest, or the value of a merchandise prize equal to the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, will be included by the licensee in the gross proceeds of the lottery event.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT PICK UP MY PRIZE IN PERSON?
Arrangements may be made to have the grand prize shipped to you “freight collect”, or if someone other than the winner will be claiming the prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize-winning letter.
HOW ARE WINNERS NOTIFIED?
Notifying the winners will be done by telephone, email or through registered mail. Winners names will also be listed on the WIN2023 website and through social media. Within 120 days following each draw, the names and city of residence of any winners who have not claimed their prizes will be posted on each Foundation’s website and social media outlets.
IF I WIN, IS MY TICKET STILL IN FOR THE OTHER DRAWS?
Yes, each ticket purchased is entered for each and every draw.
WHO IS BUMP?
BUMP, A Division of Canadian Bank Note (CBN), is a registered gaming supplier with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Ticket fulfillment and draw control are provided by BUMP for the WIN2023 Lottery.
WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?
Personal information is collected for the sole purpose of completing ticket sales, identifying ticket purchasers and providing information to purchasers about WIN2023 and future AGH Foundation and CPDMH Foundation joint lotteries. Information, in whole or in part, will not be communicated to parties outside of involvement in the conduct of this lottery.
HOW WILL PROCEEDS FROM THE WIN2023 be used?
Proceeds will fund new clinical equipment for the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital and the Almonte General Hospital-Fairview Manor.
DOES THE CANADIAN ANTI-SPAM LEGISLATION AFFECT YOUR LOTTERIES?
Charity lotteries are exempt from this legislation.
